Tailored Capacity Enhancement Programs (CEPs)

We offer 5 kinds of capacity enhancement programs under our capacity building portfolio. These programs are tailored to the current context of your organization, the gap you have identified in the capacity of any cohort/staff category, and the learning outcomes we arrive at together for this cohort in a collaborative manner. The outcomes can vary from application of learning for impact storytelling to creating organizational communication strategies or designing and implementing a fundraising campaign. It's our job to help integrate your context, identified gaps and outcomes we set together.

    At VIVA, we offer a series of in person workshops and virtual learning sessions that will help your organization develop a tailored fundraising strategy for various donor categories, train you on how to run cause marketing campaigns to generate awareness and funds for your causes and even work closely with your teams to handhold and mentor the implementation of these campaigns.  Above all, we will tailor the learning program to your organization's context, available team and human resources and the thematic area or cause you work in.

    Have you ever wondered about the link between achieving program impact and strategic communication? Do you think communication, when applied strategically can help accelerate program impact? Did you know it can actually help move your program indicator? 

    An organization thrives due to its program verticals which are further broken down into specific interventions to achieve specific grassroot impact. At VIVA, we have a programs first approach. This means that our starting point is to understand the program and it's theory of change. With that we also delve into understanding the various stakeholders and their role in this journey towards impact. This is done through facilitative sessions with your program teams. Armed with this insight, we develop a robust communication strategy for your program using the VIVA Communications Framework, an in house tool that will offer a 360 Degrees approach to program communication. We work closely in training and mentoring your teams to implement this strategy over a period of time, measuring impact at regular intervals.

    Audience: Field Teams 

    Have you struggled with receiving the right pictures or a decently crafted beneficiary story from your field teams? Or your grantees? Is it becoming increasingly difficult to bridge that gap between what you need to report to the donor and what you receive from the field?

     

    At VIVA, we understand the struggles of the program or communications team at the central office, at the same time we genuinely understand the inabilities of the field teams. It comes from their lack of exposure. Empathy is key. User centric solutions are the only way. We run a series of training and mentoring programs keeping the user at the centre - for FIELD TEAMS OF NONPROFITS (if you're an implementing agency) or FIELD TEAMS OF GRANTEE ORGANIZATIONS (if you're a donor). These learning programs include both theory, application and 'learning by doing' approaches with field teams. These sessions are imparted both virtually and through in-person sessions, accompanied with a critical component of mentoring and handholding visits in order to work closely with the field teams.
